Dyson Vacuume Question?
I have bene looking at the Dyson Vacummes for pet hair & was wondering if anyone knew what the difference between these models are:
DC07 animal
DC14 animal
DC15 animal
DC17 animal
Has anyone used any of these? Is the DC17 better than the rest of the models, or do they all prety much do the same job? Thanks for any input!
The short answer is, "It depends on what you are looking for."
All of the "Animal" vacuums are purple in color and come with: 1) a 5-year warranty, 2) a carpet cleaning kit, 3) a mini turbine head, and 4) a low reach floor tool.
The DC07 Animal has Root 8 Cyclone technology, a reversible wand, and the standard airflow tools. The airwatts (suction power) for a DC07 is 270 airwatts. The weight is 19.2 lbs. The motor wattage is 12 amps. The bin capacity is .63 gallons. The cord length is 35 ft, and the maximum reach is 51 ft. (The DC17 is black with purple and steel grey accents).
They all do pretty much the same job, but I would select either the DC14 or DC15 as the best value for your money

Why does the belt on my Dyson keep breaking?
It's been through 2 belts for the spinning brush underneath in about 5 months. Surely this isn't right. It's a DC07 if that makes any difference….
