where can i find the pink dyson vacuum cleaner?

was it for a limited time only? i cant seem to find it anywhere except for overstock.com and theirs is refurbished.

i really want that vacuum and i REALLY want it in pink.
i guess i wasnt clear but under no circumstances do i want a refurbished or used appliance.

I saw it once at Kohls. Not sure if they still have it though.

Here’s a couple new ones on Ebay ….

Looks like these were limited editions so if you want one they are going to be rare and better get it while you can.

Oh and I bought a refurbished carpet steam cleaner once. It worked for a long time before it had a problem. And I used it to death. I have been through several sick cats and one that died from kidney failure due to diabetes. It served me well.I still have it. It will do everything it’s supposed to except suck the water back up. I will probably have it fixed. I bought an extended warranty on it when I bought it because it was refurbished but it actually outlived it. If there was an item that I really wanted and I couldn’t find it other than refurbished, I would get it. If you decide to go that route Overstock is a wonderful reliable company and you can purchase the extended warranty…

Which Dyson vacuum should I buy and is it a good idea to buy refurbished?

I have 2 dogs and a house with 1400 SF of carpet. Im looking at the Dyson Animal but dont know if I should get the 25, 17, 14. Which Dyson model should I get or other type. Need something that gets against the base boards well.

Buying a Dyson is a bad idea all around. I am a vacuum mechanic, and I cannot tell you how many I see on the side of the road. They are popular because of the advertising, but are really an inferior vacuum. Actually any bagless has much less suction than a bagged vacuum in general. Some good brands for pet hair are Kenmore, Bissel, Electrolux. These vacs are less money and much better vacuums. They all come with attachments so you can do your baseboards. Go for a bagged vac. Suction power is much stronger. Hope this helped.

Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum Review

http://www.vacuumwizard.com/dyson-dc23.html
The Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Canister Vacuum Review by Vacuum Wizard.com. Performance of the Dyson DC23 on carpeting and rugs. The DC23 performed well on carpeting. We crushed Oreo cookies and it sucked up these large particles very nicely. To simulate fine dust, we poured flour on the carpeting. It took a few passes, but the flour was cleaned up nicely all the way to the edge of the carpet. We also tested the Turbinehead brush on pet hair, and after a few passes all the pet hair was vacuumed up. Performance of the Turbinehead Canister Vacuum on Hard Flooring. On hard floors we did the small particle and large particle test. The flour stuck to the floor, so we activated the Turbinehead brush bar to dislodge all the particles. You have to pull out the red tab to do this by the head of the vacuum. We turned the brush bar off for the large particles, and they were cleaned up very easily. The Dyson DC23 Vacuum on stairs. The DC23 has a unique body design allowing the canister to rest on stairs. That way it can clean a staircase effectively. We used the Turbinehead brush bar and also used the smaller stair brush. Both tools worked very nicely. The Suction Power, Filtration Quality, and Noise Level of this Dyson Vacuum. The suction on this Dyson was powerful. It was over 25 Kilopascals, which is more than a typical vacuum. The exhaust on this vacuum is completely dust-free because of the HEPA filtration system and Dyson root cyclone. We also tested the noise level, and it was between 75 and 80 decibels, which is average for a vacuum. Overall, we felt this was a nice canister vacuum. It works great for carpets and carpeted stairs. On hard floors it also worked nicely, but it is annoying messing with the red circular tab to transition from different floor types.

Does anyone own a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner?

I am thinking of buying a vacuum cleaner. Does anyone own a Dyson? If so, which model? Are they any good?

I bought one, the yellow one called the ball i believe. i returned it. I didn’t like how heavy it waqs, it didn’t transition from hard floor to my area rug without lifting it up, and it was a pain to get the wand in and out to use the hand held suction part to get into corners and small spaces. I got a canister vacuum by Simplicity. it was the same price too. if you do get one go to Bed BAth and Beyond. they asways have a coupon for 20% off you will save 100.00.

Angry Hornets in my Dyson

I used my Dyson Vacuum to capture a couple hornets that were trying to build a nest on my house. They seem to be a little upset at me! I’m not exactly sure how to get them out of there now…

Mini turbine on the Dyson animal vacuum?

I am wondering how the mini turbine fits onto the dyson vacuum animal model. It appears that it needs to ‘click’ into something. The only place we can think of is directly on the hose and we have to use too much force (I can barely do it) and we do not want to wreck it. We looked through the manual and can’t seem to find it. Please help.

It does connect to the hose or the pole. I use it on the stairs and upholstery. It’s great for dog hair.

My Dyson Vacuum Cleaner DC17 Allergy model pulls out a lot of carpet fiber. Will it ruin my carpet eventually?

I bought a Dyson DC17 vacuum cleaner (Allergy model) and each time I use it on my wall to wall carpet, it pulls out a lot of carpet fiber. There is no height adjustment feature and I am afraid it will eat up my carpet eventually. I have a nice expensive carpet and I am afraid this vac cleaner will ruin it.
Any advise?

There is a brush control button next to the on/off switch. You can turn the brushbar off when you vacuum, if you are concerned about your carpet.

If it is new carpet, you will see quite a few fibers, especially in a Dyson. This should taper off the more you use it. If it doesn’t, then turn off the brushbar.
