I LOVE this tool! I use it all the time – it works very well for dusting any flat surface, window-blinds, TV screens, etc.
I do find the suction with the DC07/DC14 is a little too strong for it – it glues itself down onto the surface, and the dust can’t get through the bristles. However, here’s a little trick: unclip the blockage-check valve at the side of the machine, and rest it back into place, but don’t click it down. This should halve the suction and make the tools – especially the Soft Dusting Brush – much more usable!

I have bene looking at the Dyson Vacummes for pet hair & was wondering if anyone knew what the difference between these models are:
DC07 animal
DC14 animal
DC15 animal
DC17 animal
Has anyone used any of these? Is the DC17 better than the rest of the models, or do they all prety much do the same job? Thanks for any input!

Why does the belt on my Dyson keep breaking?
It's been through 2 belts for the spinning brush underneath in about 5 months. Surely this isn't right. It's a DC07 if that makes any difference….

Can anyone help me with my Dyson vacuum?
I have a dyson vacuum cleaner, model DC07. I took off the bottom yellow piece that houses the beater brush and the brush came out on one side. I struggled to get it in and I finally did and put everything back together but now its not sucking up the nap on my carpet, i am getting lines from the wheels. I tried looking for blockages and there isnt any. Filter is clean, as is the part that the dust accumulates. I've taken it apart a couple of times now to see if I maybe put the brush roller thing on wrong. It seems like there is only one way it goes in. The housing is also on right. I love my dyson but I am having company soon and I need the thing to work! What else can I try?
Try contacting Dyson directly, just in case there's a fault with your vacuum.
