I am a housecleaner and one of my clients has a dyson animal vac. it works ok but i have a kirby g4 model that i use at home and i think kirby trumps any other vacuum. they run about 1400 dollars though. but i received mine when my great gran passed. i wouldnt pay that much for one.

My Mom has the DC15 and I love it, but would the DC18 slim have the same suction power?
I have the animal one (purple) and I love it.Had it for 3 years now and it has great suction. I think it has more then the others since it is designed to pick up pet hair.
Difference between Dyson DC15 Animal and DC 15 Full Kit?
Besides the price, are their any major differences between the two vacuum cleaners?
Only difference I see is the Animal comes with dry powder and spot spray cleaners.
The technical specs are the exact same. I’d say save the $50 and get the Full Kit.
