Can you move the Roomba upstairs to downstairs, or does it become programmed to clean one certain area?

I have a two-story house and am wondering if I can set the Roomba to clean the kitchen one day, then simply move it to the bedrooms upstairs the next day, then the living room the day after that, and back to the kitchen on the fourth day. kwim?

    You can move it around, but it is a bit of a nuisance. If you can afford it, better to buy additional Roombas.
