To remove food or chewing gums which landed on your carpet, use a spatula, spoon, or anything thin and flat to scrape off food and chewing gum from your carpet.
6. No matter what kind of stain you are working with, when cleaning it up, start from the outer edge and work towards the middle. This will ensure the stain doesn’t spread. Sometimes it can dip into non-stained areas if you start from the middle instead.
